The Gibbes Street Party is an annual fundraiser featuring chefs from Charleston’s top restaurants. The 2016 event coincided with the reopening of the Gibbes Museum of Art, thus the theme “The Year of the Gibbes.” We created a lively spin-off of Chinese New Year dragon, weaving the Gibbes logo into traditional Asian-inspired borders. The theme is carried throughout the invitation design, sponsor party invite, sponsor badge, tickets, and poster design. Shortly after the collateral won a design award by the Southeastern Museum Conference (SEMC).
